Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Freelance Senior Business Analyst to support a transformation initiative within asset management. The consultant will combine business and process analysis with the ability to coordinate teams, define reporting and manage stakeholders. The consultant will connect teams across different departments, organise activities, and define reporting frameworks and KPIs. The role requires extensive operational expertise and close collaboration with business and IT teams.

Key responsibilities
• Act as the link between operations and different departments.
• Review existing processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Gather requests, define action plans and coordinate the related actions.
• Prepare analyses, progress reports and decision-making materials.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operational and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, issues and progress.
• Support testing, implementation and operational readiness.
• Advise stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Experience and skills
• At least five years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience within asset management.
• Extensive knowledge of operational processes and investment products.
• Project or workstream management experience.
• Strong process-analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong reporting, advisory and stakeholder-management skills.
• Understanding of front-to-back investment operations.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Knowledge of VBA is an advantage.
