Data & AI Architect

Shape the Future of Data & AI We are looking for an experienced Data & AI Platform Architect to help define and drive the future of a large-scale enterprise data and AI ecosystem. In this role, you will operate at both strategic and tactical levels, translating business ambitions into scalable platform architectures and technology roadmaps. You will work closely with enterprise architects, platform teams, security, governance stakeholders, and business leaders to build robust foundations for advanced analytics, AI, and Generative AI initiatives. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping modern data platforms that enable data products, AI-driven solutions, and next-generation intelligent applications in a complex enterprise environment. Your Responsibilities
• Shape the Data & AI platform strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Design scalable solutions for Data, AI, GenAI, and Machine Learning use cases.
• Define architecture patterns, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Drive integration across SAP, Databricks, Azure, Kafka, and enterprise platforms.
• Advise stakeholders on technology choices, innovation, and platform evolution.
• Partner with business and technology teams to deliver future-ready Data & AI capabilities. What You'll Bring Required Experience
• Proven experience as a Data Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and governing Data Platform and/or AI Platform architectures.
• Strong background working within hybrid landscapes combining on-premises and cloud technologies.
• Experience translating conceptual information models into logical data models.
• Expertise with modern Data & AI platforms and architectural best practices.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures
• AI or MLOps platforms
• Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vector databases and knowledge architectures
• AI governance and Responsible AI frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native-level Dutch CEFR C2). Considered to be a plus, experience in :
• Event-driven architecture patterns.
• LeanIX.
• SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, or SAP BDC.
• SAP S/4HANA data integration and exposure.
• Relevant AI, Databricks and MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications. Why Join?
