Rostrum Grand is licensed by the Securities & Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong for Type 1 (Dealing in securities), Type 4 (Advising on securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activity Role Description The Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong SAR, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across investment and business functions. This role coordinates trade execution and settlement processes, ensures accurate and timely data flows between front, middle, and back office, and maintains robust operational controls. The Operations Lead designs and refines workflows, standard operating procedures, and reporting dashboards to support investment, product, and capital formation teams. The position involves managing relationships with service providers such as fund administrators, custodians, and banks, while monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements in relevant jurisdictions. Qualifications Strong operations management experience in asset management, private markets, or alternative investments, with proven ability to oversee end-to-end trade, cash, and position reconciliation processes. 5-10 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or investor services within asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or a fund administrator. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to design and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and documentation that support decision-making. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks for investment firms, with practical experience implementing controls and working with compliance or risk teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, professional operations certifications) are beneficial. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, with a focus on precision, integrity, and alignment with long-term institutional partners.
