Job Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain robust regulatory reporting frameworks, policies, and procedures. Lead the preparation and submission of statutory reports; Data Governance & Quality: Oversee data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory submissions. Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure alignment with data governance standards. Implement systems and controls for data validation, reconciliation, and audit trails; Internal Controls: Identify and mitigate risks in regulatory reporting processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, IT) to align reporting requirements with business objectives; Technology & Innovation: Lead the evaluation and implementation of regulatory reporting tools. Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting processes. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with professional certificates preferred; Minimum 8 years of experience in regulatory reporting, with 2+ years in a senior leadership role; Proven track record in the Hong Kong banking sector, with exposure to retail, corporate, or investment banking; In-depth understanding of HKMA regulations and Basel requirements, familiarity with IFRS 9 & CFT frameworks; Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools, as well as proficiency in regulatory reporting platforms; Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua.
