Where others see modules, you see one connected system. Where others stop at symptoms, you trace the cause. Where a single choice seems harmless, you already see the ripple effect three steps down the line. Our business architects do not fill in processes: they design the blueprint behind a client's future. You operate at the intersection of business strategy, process design and system architecture. You step into organisations in full motion, listen to how the business really works, and shape a blueprint that connects every moving part into one clear direction. You think A to Z, challenge assumptions and guide companies through change with clarity and confidence, combining process optimisation with technological insight, without getting lost in technical detail. What you own
• Think A to Z, shape the full blueprint: you see how every business process fits together, you foresee the implications of each design decision, and you translate organisational goals into an Odoo architecture that is cohesive, built to grow and ready for what comes next. No ERP choice is ever local: everything is connected.
• Advise honestly, guide through change: you challenge existing ways of working, explain alternatives clearly and convince stakeholders why one direction is better than another. You evaluate when Odoo is the right answer, and when it is not, based on your broader application knowledge: we would rather lose a discussion than hide a gap.
• Guard the blueprint to go-live: you give direction to project managers and consultants while keeping the helicopter view, and you check during implementation that the delivered configurations match the architectural intent. A blueprint is only right when the go-live proves it.
• Operate at C-level: you engage confidently with CxOs and board members, backed by a solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet logic and financial workflows, and you manage multiple analysis tracks at the same time.
• AI in how we design: you use AI in your daily architecture work, from preparing workshops and analysing processes to documenting blueprints and testing your own assumptions. You spot where it sharpens your analysis or saves real hours, you make that visible, and what works for you, you share with the other architects and consultants. How you think
• You refuse shortcuts. Inconsistencies or vague assumptions? You do not let them slide because it might be fine. You name the gap.
• You reason until it fits. You keep digging until every process and data flow logically connects.
• You translate strategy into design. Data models, process boundaries, integration logic, clear architectural rules: you turn abstract goals into concrete design principles.
• AI is a natural part of how you work: you try things out of interest rather than obligation, and keep what holds up in real analysis work.
• You bring calm to complexity. You are at your best when you bring calm structure to complexity, make consequences visible and help teams understand why something must be done a certain way. What you bring
• Broad ERP exposure: multiple systems or domains, ideally including Odoo, and the scars that come with real implementations.
• A sharp analytical mind: you reason through complex business and IT interactions with a structured process mindset.
• Strong stakeholder

skills:
excellent communication, change management awareness and the ability to challenge clients respectfully.
• Financial fluency: you are comfortable at C-level, with a solid grasp of financial fundamentals (P&L, balance sheet).
• You think and work at master's level, backed by a master's degree.
• You are fluent in Dutch and comfortable in English: our projects and customers run in Dutch, with English alongside.
• Bonus points for: an APICS/PICS certification. How we work Four values, written with colleagues in all five countries. This is what they ask of a business architect.
• Close the gap. Name it, fix it. Closing the gap is what we do for a living: the distance between how a business works today and how it needs to work. For an architect, mapping that gap is the job itself. You are open with your customer about what fits, what does not and what it costs before they ask, and when you name a gap, you bring the design answer with it.
• Own the outcome. Delivered is not done. A blueprint is finished when it runs at the customer, not when it is approved on a slide. You guard your design through implementation, you flag it yourself when the build drifts from the blueprint, and you do not declare success until the go-live proves it.
• Never the final version. Building for what comes next. Odoo ships a major release every year, because better is always possible. We do not stand still either: our methodology, our tools and the way we use AI keep moving. You design solutions your customer can grow into, and when the durable option costs more, you say so before it is decided.
• One Dynapps. Bigger than your module. In Odoo, a module only creates value once it connects to the next one. Your blueprint works the same way. You share what you learn with architects and consultants in five countries, and when your customer needs expertise your team does not have, you make the introduction. What's in it for you You design the architecture behind our most strategic implementations, and your choices shape how our clients run for years. You do that within a group of 280+ Odoo specialists across five countries and 13 local offices, a group that keeps growing and where nothing is the final version: that brings new opportunities, international collaboration and room to grow further. We have a culture with short decision lines and room for initiative. No two projects, customers or blueprints are the same. You work two days from home and three days at the office or at your customer and you can count on a competitive salary package with company car and extra-legal benefits. Interested?
