We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, focusing on enhancing their portfolio, program, project, and product management governance. This important role will significantly impact the strategic and operational coordination of initiatives, ensuring effective prioritization and resource optimization, as well as the adoption of modern tools and methodologies. Responsibilities Implement PPM governance and establish a central Project Management Office (PMO) based on Prince2, adapting it to the contextual needs of the organization. Develop and maintain PPM methodologies, including Agile practices suitable for IT and Data specificities, while ensuring coherence in reporting and transparency throughout the implementation process. Lead the development and improvement of a complex PPM tool, overseeing its migration, customization, and user adoption through training and methodological support. Manage and optimize the operations of the central PMO, including project portfolio tracking, prioritization, resource management, stakeholder coordination, and process enhancement. Facilitate structured communication and training workshops to assure smooth organizational changes and effective stakeholder management. Proactively identify obstacles and dependencies, proposing pragmatic solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Profile of the Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree in management along with Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner certifications. Experience of at least 5 years in managing central PMOs, especially within public sector environments, is essential. Candidates should have demonstrated skills in cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and should be comfortable navigating complex organizational structures. Fluency in English and Dutch, supported by strong communication skills in French, is required. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Office Suite and Power BI for data-driven reporting. Experience with PPM tools and methodologies, particularly those aligned with Prince2. Familiarity with Agile frameworks (such as Scrum) and product management principles. Understanding of IT and Data processes, alongside experience in budget tracking and performance indicators.
