About Anchorpoint Anchorpoint Financial Limited is a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (SCBHK) and a joint venture established by SCBHK, HKT, and Animoca Brands in February 2025. With the vision of utilising tokenised money to rewire and supplement existing financial infrastructure for the betterment of the real economy, the initial goal is to build and advance the regulated HKD stablecoin “HKDAP” to serve as a secure tokenised medium of exchange for digital economy and to facilitate international payments and capital flows. It is one of the first entities granted with a stablecoin issuer licence (licence number FRS01) by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Stablecoins Ordinance in April 2026.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support the day-to-day technical operations and operational readiness of our Digital Assets Platform. This is a production-facing role focused on release management, incident management, systems monitoring, operational excellence, and stakeholder coordination across business and technology teams. The role sits within Technology team reporting directly to the Head of Production, and partners closely with Product, Risk, Operations teams to ensure platform stability, operational resilience, and effective incident management.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
• Own day-to-day application support activities across platform environments.
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and overall operational health.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues across applications, infrastructure, third-party services, and blockchain components.
• Coordinate incident management activities, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Assess the business and operational impact of incidents and prioritise response activities accordingly.
• Follow established incident, escalation, communication, and operational procedures rigorously. Observability & Reliability
• Design, implement, and enhance platform observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
• Develop centralised dashboards, logging, and operational visibility across platform components.
• Improve incident detection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis through effective use of logs, metrics, and telemetry.
• Identify reliability risks and drive improvements in platform resilience, operational readiness, and service maturity. Infrastructure & Platform Operations
• Coordinate end-to-end production release management activities, including planning, scheduling, deployment execution, rollback readiness, and post-release validation.
• Maintain release calendars and manage change approvals, ensuring all operational, technical, security, compliance, and business readiness requirements are completed before production deployment.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth and controlled delivery of platform changes.
• Drive continuous improvement of release processes, deployment automation, and platform stability while supporting cloud infrastructure and production environments. Qualifications
• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Production Support, Application Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar production-facing roles.
• Strong experience supporting business-critical production systems and managing live production incidents.
• Experience administering Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong coordination, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to investigate issues, interpret logs and monitoring data, and collaborate effectively with engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Experience working within banking, financial services, payments, fintech, digital assets, trading platforms, or other regulated environments.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
