- Application Portfolio Management & Modernization
About Us
Within 9Yards org we are looking for an experienced Architect with deep expertise in application portfolio management, application rationalization, and modernization to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming the technology landscape and optimizing the application portfolio of our customers .
Key Responsibilities
• :Lead efforts in application portfolio management, rationalization, and modernization initiatives
• .
Develop strategies and frameworks for assessing, optimizing, and streamlining the application landscape
• .
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to identify opportunities for modernization, aligning technology strategies with business objectives
• .
Analyze current application architectures and design modernization roadmaps that enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance
• .
Utilize industry-leading tools for application portfolio management, such as Orbus Infinity, LeanIX,Bizzdesign and Ardoq, to assess and optimize the portfolio
• .
Create detailed documentation and reports to communicate findings and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders .
Requirements
• :Proven experience in application portfolio management, rationalization, and modernization
• .
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, system integration, and enterprise architecture
• .
Familiarity with or experience using tools like Orbus Infinity, Bizzdesign, LeanIX, Ardoq, or similar platforms
• .
Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus
• .
Experience with cloud technologies and modern software architectures is a plus
• .
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex environments and propose actionable solutions
• .
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage with both technical and business teams
• .
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously . Preferred Qualification

Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practice
