THE ROLE
Risk teams in banks, asset managers and international financial institutions still spend too much time collecting, checking and reformatting data, and not enough time analysing it. We help them change that.
We are growing our Luxembourg team and looking for several Risk Automation Consultants who understand financial markets and risk, and who can turn manual risk processes into reliable, automated reporting. You will work directly with risk managers to understand what their numbers mean, find where time and quality are lost, and build solutions that make a visible difference to their day-to-day work.
This is a long-term role. We hire people because we believe in them, not for a single project. You will build your expertise across our core areas (risk management, risk data and reporting, banking and asset management) and shape your own specialisation over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assessing existing risk management and reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and resolving them through automation and workflow improvements.
• Designing and building automated calculation and reporting solutions for risk metrics such as exposures, performance, concentration and risk indicators, from source data to final report.
• Developing standardised templates and interactive dashboards that help risk managers monitor portfolios and make decisions.
• Performing deep dives into data, investigating reconciliation issues across systems, and implementing data quality checks so that figures are consistent across reports.
• Documenting processes, calculation logic and data flows so that solutions are transparent, auditable and easy to maintain.
• Working closely with risk, business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Participating in and progressively leading engagements for clients in Luxembourg. REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in finance, management sciences, applied economics, engineering or computer sciences.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management, risk reporting or data analytics within a financial institution, asset manager or consultancy.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets and of the risk concepts used in the banking and fund industry (e.g. market risk, exposure, performance and valuation metrics). Profiles with a market risk background are very welcome.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
• Experience in building of automating AI workflows will be a plus.
• Experience in handling large scale unstructured data will be an added advantage.
• Outstanding analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding the numbers you automate.
• Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously in a result-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) and strong presentation skills.
• A CFA, FRM or PRM certification, completed or in progress, is a plus.
• First-hand experience with Agile ways of working is a plus. WHY FINALYSE
• A meaningful role and mission contributing to the stability and responsible innovation of the financial sector.

• A diverse, multinational team of talented specialists and senior experts, committed to sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and driving collective success.
• Real ownership early on in a flat, agile organisation.
• A healthy work culture that values wellbeing, work–life balance and sustainable consulting practices.
• Flexible ways of working with hybrid options, trust-based autonomy and openness to part-time arrangements.
• A competitive compensation and benefits package, including healthcare, pension and sustainable mobility options.
• Innovation and thought leadership opportunities, including internal initiatives, research groups, and access to modern tools and structured methodologies.
