We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Engineer to join our team Remotely.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance database schemas and structures.
• Implement and optimize database solutions, including DDL scripts, SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Translate business and application requirements into effective database designs.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate database components.
• Prototype and validate database solutions with stakeholders.
• Test database components, ensuring performance, integrity, and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance.
• Implement database security, access controls, and data protection measures.
• Manage data migration, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Support system deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation. Requirements WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 15+ years of experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and schema design using database development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Workbench, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) including database release and change management.
• 15+ years of experience developing advanced SQL solutions, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and database programming (e.g., PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL).
• 10+ years of experience with database testing frameworks and designing automated, repeatable tests for database logic and data integrity.
• 10+ years of experience in database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos DB, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in database backup, recovery, high availability, replication, and clustering strategies. Specific Requirements

• 10 years of experience in writing structured technical documents.
• 10 years of experience in delivering technical presentations for varied type of stakeholders.
• 10 years of experience in adopting evolving database technologies and integrating them into existing architectures.
