The Office of the Vice-President for Research and Development is seeking a highly motivated person to join our team. The
key responsibilities
include:
• supporting supervisors in daily Human Resources, Finance and Research Administration duties, including document preparation, budget and account administration and procurement;
• liaising with internal and external stakeholders on research-related matters;
• providing administrative and secretarial support to committees and meetings;
• supporting events and activities such as seminars, lectures, workshops, conferences and visits;
• performing general office administration duties; and
• undertaking other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions, or research-related offices. The ideal candidates should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be able to work independently and flexibly with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract. Please apply on or before: 26 October 2026.
