Full Time About The Business Analysis Associate Trainee Program Supports continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis, operational assessment, and solution implementation. General Description Our three-year rotational full-time program allows you to explore and contribute to Popular, while leveraging your strengths, and growing your skills. The Associate Trainee, Business Analysis Track, is a three-year developmental opportunity for recent graduates and early career professionals who are passionate about solving business challenges through data, analysis, and strategic thinking. Trainees will gain hands-on experience supporting business initiatives, evaluating opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions that drive organizational success. Through rotational assignments, mentorship, and specialized training, participants will build strong analytical and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to multiple business functions and key stakeholders across the organization. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information to support business decisions and project recommendations.
• Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Support the development of reports, business cases, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations .
• Conduct research and analysis to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and business projects.
• Track project progress and help ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Prepare summaries, recommendations, and presentations for management review.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through data-driven insights and recommendations. Training & Professional Development

• Three, one-year role rotations driven by business products priorities.

• Complete assigned training, certifications, and development activities established for the Associate Trainee Program.

• Banking product industry knowledge through collaboration and networking with experienced team members.
• Training in job departments functions that will facilitate the transfer between rotational units and increase promotional opportunities.
• Company-sponsored trainings/licenses/certifications to increase professional growth.
• Job role to be performed mainly in Puerto Rico facilities, but employees might have the opportunity to visit Popular Affiliates and Subsidiaries in USA and VI as part of the assigned job rotation to collaborate with team members within these areas.
• Travel might be required. Education Bachelor's or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience
• Zero (0) to two (2) years of professional experience in business operations, process improvement, project coordination, analytics, consulting, or a related field.
• Internship, cooperative education, academic projects, leadership programs, students’ organization, or other relevant experiences may be considered. Certifications / Licenses No certifications or license needed. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, oral and written.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience with project-based coursework, internships, or student organizations.
