Internship - Operations Administrator

Context Please note that an internship agreement from a Belgian or Dutch university is mandatory to be eligible for this internship. Bank Degroof Petercam is a Belgian rooted Bank, operating within the CA Indosuez group, and with leading positions in Asset Management, Private Banking and Investment Banking. The Operations service is part of the COO department and supports the business lines of Degroof Petercam with operational services related to Banking Operations and Client Administration. Within the department, we always strive to offer best in class, efficient services to our internal and external clients. Your position Depending on the priorities and your background, you will support the Operations team, with following activities:
• booking and processing of cash & payments transactions
• booking and post-trade processing of transactions in financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives, funds…)
• operational treatment of corporate actions (dividend, stock split…) on the accounts of our clients
• control and reporting on local and international tax related matters (withholding tax, tax on stock exchange transactions, FATCA, CRS…) Client Administration
• operational treatment of client onboarding and lifecycle (opening & closing of accounts, account modifications…)

Your profile
• You are currently pursuing (or you already have) a Bachelor or a Master degree
• You have strong analytical and numerical skills
• You are passionate about the financial industry and banking operations
• You are results-driven with a hands-on approach
• You are able to work independently but you also enjoy working in a team setting
• Your mother tongue is French or Dutch with a very good level of English
