- Redefining Your Lifestyle at Discovery Bay. Responsibilities Supervise end-to-end events service operations such as but not limited to conferences, meetings, weddings, and social events. Coordinate with clients, internal departments, and events teams to confirm events requirements and ensure service standards are met. Conduct the briefing sessions with events staff, seasonal support team and casual staff to ensure events schedules are followed. Ensure consistency in quality of food & beverage and standard of service. Uphold health, safety, and security guidelines during all events activities. Manage guest requests promptly and escalate issues as needed to maintain service excellence. Ensure appropriate Audio & Video setup, including microphones, speakers, sound systems, projectors, screens, LED/display systems, and basic troubleshooting. Requirements Certificate or above in hospitality is preferred. Minimum 3 years of events services working experience or equivalent, preferable with experience in hotel banquets, luxury catering. Advantageous in the knowledge of Audio & Video systems. Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure with a focus on immediate client satisfaction. Good supervisory skills to drive teamwork. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on events schedules. Less experiences will be considered as Events Service Captain.
