Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions and architectures. Create and maintain dimensional and data models. Develop data integration and ETL pipelines. Work with databases, metadata, BI, and reporting components. Contribute to the modernization of existing data platforms and applications. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. Apply best practices for data quality, architecture, and scalable data solutions. Take a leading role in data engineering and architecture activities. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse modelling. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Architect. Proven experience designing and building data warehouse solutions. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, processes, and architectures. Hands-on experience with: Azure DevOps Azure Synapse Databricks dbt ETL/data integration Experience with Cognos or DataStage is an advantage. Experience in the public sector and preferably the waste management/environmental sector. Knowledge of Power BI, dimensional modelling, BI, and metadata management is a plus. Experience with Agile methodologies. Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency. Assignment Start: 14 September 2026 End: 15 July 2027 Workload: Full-time
