Requirements:
Language: English is mandatory; Dutch and French are a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent technical experience.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Machine Learning Engineer. Advanced hands-on experience with Python. Strong experience with Containerization and Virtualisation technologies. Experience working with AI Platforms and IDEs. Strong knowledge of CI/CD, particularly GitLab CI/CD. Experience with Code, Model, and Data Versioning. Experience with Package Management and Dependency Management. Strong experience with PostgreSQL. Experience developing and integrating production-ready ML pipelines. Experience contributing to the deployment, integration, and monitoring of AI/ML services. Experience working with Data Scientists and IT Production teams to deploy ML models into production environments. Experience automating ML pipeline components, including Docker/VM images and unit, regression, and integration testing. Experience supporting the parameterization and configuration of target production environments. Ability to ensure ML models run reliably, are retrained when required, and are monitored from both IT and business perspectives. Knowledge of Agile methodology. Experience with integration using different technologies, including distributed/mainframe systems and infrastructure components is a plus. Knowledge of Model Compression Techniques is a plus. Experience with ELT/ETL tools, Big Data technologies such as Spark, Data Flow Processing, and Data Visualization Tools is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Results-driven with strong delivery and ownership mindset. High level of attention to detail and rigor. Strong problem-solving, creativity, and innovation skills. Proactive approach to continuous learning and technical knowledge improvement. Ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to think beyond existing processes and frameworks. Open and constructive approach to change, feedback, ideas, and collaboration.
