Italian Food & Gastronomy Development Executive Cheese Meets Wine Limited – Hong Kong Cheese Meets Wine is a Hong Kong-based specialist importer and distributor focused exclusively on Italy. For more than a decade, we have developed a distinctive portfolio of artisanal Italian wines, working with leading hotels, restaurants, chefs and sommeliers across Hong Kong and Macau. As our wine business is now well established, we are returning to an important part of the original Cheese Meets Wine concept: developing a carefully selected portfolio of artisanal Italian cheeses and specialty foods to complement our wines. We are seeking an energetic and commercially minded Italian Food & Gastronomy Development Executive to assist in developing this new division from the ground up. This is not simply a sales position. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder and our Hong Kong team to research products and producers, develop supplier relationships in Italy, evaluate opportunities for the Hong Kong market, coordinate product launches and build relationships with Hong Kong's hospitality and F&B sector.

Key Responsibilities
Research and identify artisanal Italian cheese and specialty-food producers suitable for the Hong Kong market. Develop and maintain direct relationships with producers and suppliers throughout Italy. Assist in developing CMW's new Italian food and cheese portfolio, with particular emphasis on regional provenance, authenticity, quality and compatibility with our existing Italian wine portfolio. Conduct market research into Hong Kong's premium food, restaurant, hotel and specialty-retail sectors. Assist with product evaluation, positioning, pricing, margin analysis and competitor research. Work with management and logistics partners on product specifications, documentation, shipment planning and import requirements. Develop product information, producer profiles, sales materials and educational content for the Hong Kong market. Introduce products to chefs, F&B professionals, sommeliers, hotels, restaurants and selected retail customers. Organise and participate in tastings, food-and-wine presentations, trade events, producer visits and customer training. Support CMW's existing wine business where food and wine activities overlap, including regional food-and-wine pairings and customer events. Assist with digital marketing, social media and communications relating to the company's Italian food and wine portfolio. Please apply to: accounts@cheesemeetswine.com
