· Full-time About Crease Group Crease Group designs, develops and manufactures apparel for premium global brands. We operate across three entities in the US, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, with Guangzhou as our global operating hub. We’re growing fast and moving more of our billing and operations into Hong Kong and China. We need a hands-on accountant to own the books and build the finance function with us. The role You’ll own day-to-day accounting for our Hong Kong entity and be the finance point of contact for our Guangzhou team. This is a hands-on seat. You’ll keep the books yourself, build our systems in Xero, and make sure every invoice, PO and payment goes out clean and on time. You’ll report directly to the Founder & CEO. What you’ll do
• Run full-set books for our Hong Kong entity in Xero: AR, AP, bank reconciliations and month-end close
• Build out our Xero setup, including chart of accounts, multi-currency, invoice and PO templates, and approval flows
• Issue client invoices and pro-forma invoices to one consistent standard, and follow up on collections
• Prepare supplier payments and run the payment approval process
• Run monthly intercompany billing and settlement between our US, Hong Kong and China entities
• Work with our Hong Kong auditors, tax advisors and Guangzhou accounting firm on the annual audit, profits tax and statutory filings
• Review staff expense claims and run the monthly reimbursement cycle
• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet) and flag issues early
• Be the go-to person for the sales and operations team on invoices, POs and payments What you bring
• Degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of full-set accounting experience, including Hong Kong company books (required)
• Hands-on experience with Xero or QuickBooks, including multi-currency
• Fluent English, written and spoken, plus Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Able to read mainland Chinese financial documents. Fapiao and export rebate knowledge is a plus.
• Organized, accurate and proactive. You build the process instead of waiting for one.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led company. Nice to have
• Background in trading, apparel, sourcing or supply chain
• ACCA, HKICPA, CPA or working toward one
• Experience setting up a finance function or accounting system from scratch
