Senior SAP HCM & Fiori Technical Expert

Brussels, Belgium Working Model: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days onsite in Brussels) Contract Duration: January 2027 to December 2028 Start Date: 01/01/2027 End Date: 31/12/2028 Rate: Up to €650/day The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Senior SAP HCM & Fiori Technical Expert to join a large-scale enterprise environment and play a key role in the development, enhancement, and support of critical SAP HR solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP HCM landscapes, modern Fiori applications, mobile solutions, and enterprise integrations that support thousands of end users. What You'll Be Working On You will be involved in the design, development, and support of SAP HR solutions covering:
• Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) solutions across SAP HR, SAP Portal, WebDynpro, Fiori, and mobile platforms.
• Time Registration applications via SAP HR, SAP Portal, HR Kiosk, WebDynpro, and Fiori.
• SAP HR Time Management processes, including Negative, Positive, and Quota calculations.
• Integrations between SAP and legacy systems using SAP PI and IDoc technologies.
• Technical architecture, platform optimisation, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Translate functional requirements into scaleable technical solutions.
• Create technical specifications and architecture designs alongside functional analysts and development teams.
• Deliver new developments, change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes from concept through to deployment.
• Perform SAP HR customising and configuration.
• Analyse incidents and system issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Drive technical improvements and contribute to platform modernisation.
• Act as a key technical contact for enterprise architects and stakeholders.
• Champion development best practices and high-quality, reusable code. Required Experience To be considered for this position, you should have:
• 5+ years of SAPUI5/Fiori development experience (essential).
• 3+ years of SAP HR Time Management experience, including:
• Time Registration
• Negative Time Management
• Positive Time Management
• Quota Management
• Strong experience with:
• Web Services
• OData Services
• SOAP
• XML
• JSON
• REST APIs
• Proven ability to convert business requirements into robust SAP technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of development best practices and reusable code principles.
• Hands-on expertise with:
• ABAP Workbench
• ABAP OO
• RAP
• CDS
• Workflow
• IDocs
• ALV Grid
• ABAP WebDynpro Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly CDS concepts and Virtual Data Models (VDM).
• Experience working across complex SAP landscapes and enterprise integrations.

• Dutch (native or minimum C-level)
• French (minimum B2 level)
