Accountant - liaison China

Accountant Mandarin (liaison China) At GTA we run the complete bookkeeping of several production companies, with an analytical allocation of costs across departments. We are looking for an all-round accountant who becomes the link between our Belgian and Chinese accounting departments. Your Responsibilities
• Full-cycle bookkeeping: purchase and sales invoices through to VAT returns and monthly closings
• Analytical cost allocation across departments
• Coaching and supporting the Chinese accounting team working on Belgian accounting — good spoken Mandarin is essential
• Liaison between the Belgian and Chinese accounting teams
• Insight into international trade (imports and exports)
• Collaboration with fellow accountants in Wielsbeke or other domestic and foreign branches GTA is increasingly automating simple, repetitive tasks — creating more room for the challenging issues that make this job genuinely interesting.

Your Profile
• Degree and experience as an accountant; able to independently close a full set of accounts
• Very good spoken Mandarin
• Very good command of English and/or Dutch
• Affinity with international trade
• Accurate, analytical, and able to communicate across cultures
