Belgique Harrier Temps plein
Full Stack Engineer Build software you can keep improving, with time to focus and experienced colleagues to learn from. At Harrier, you’ll spend most of your time building: coding, testing, debugging, and refining applications. You’ll write backend logic and APIs in Python with FastAPI, and build frontends in JavaScript with React. You’ll work in a project trio with a Strategist and an Architect, contributing technical judgment and turning well-defined requirements into reliable software. What you can expect from us
• Hybrid office culture. We work remote-first, with an HQ office in Antwerp and coworking spaces in Limerick, Ireland, and Bilbao, Spain. We encourage you to spend time there when it suits your project or personal needs. Equipment, home office support, coworking access, and two annual company offsites support focused work and time together.
• Time to do good work. Remote-first working, async collaboration, and protected meeting-free blocks.
• Experienced colleagues. Work alongside senior engineers and architects, help decide how solutions are built, and stay involved as they evolve. What you’ll do
• Build backend logic and APIs in Python with FastAPI.
• Create responsive, accessible frontends in JavaScript with React.
• Deliver complete features, connecting interfaces to backend services and handling loading, validation, and errors.
• Connect applications to other systems through APIs and integrations, accounting for security, performance, and reliability.
• Write automated tests, review code with peers, and use Git and automated release pipelines to deliver changes reliably. Troubleshoot production issues and improve the systems behind them.
• Work with your Architect to clarify requirements and technical tradeoffs, and with quality assurance colleagues to validate features. Raise risks early, document decisions, and improve shared engineering practices. What you bring
• Experience delivering applications into production, with solid Python, JavaScript, and React skills and practical experience building APIs with FastAPI.
• Sound software engineering judgment. You can write modular, testable code and explain the tradeoffs behind your approach.
• Experience connecting frontends to backend services and building interfaces that help people complete their work.
• Use AI throughout development to speed up implementation, testing, debugging, and code review, while taking responsibility for the quality of what you ship.
• Experience with integrations, automated testing, Git, and reliable releases.
• Clear communication and ownership. You ask questions when requirements are unclear, make blockers visible, and follow your work through to production.
• Experience maintaining applications as requirements evolve or working in consulting environments is useful. Equivalent practical experience matters as much as a relevant degree. Interested? Apply through LinkedIn and share:
