responsibilities:
As Accounting Manager, you will:
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare, analyse and report monthly results, balance sheet, cash flow and Group reporting schedules
• Manage reporting through D365 and Tagetik
• Coordinate intercompany positions and settlements
• Review and validate VAT declarations and coordinate corporate tax reporting with external advisors
• Prepare the annual statutory accounts
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Manage, coach and support the GL & AP accounting team
• Work closely with the CFO, Controlling and FP&A teams
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to the business What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment
• Strong A–Z accounting knowledge
• Experience with statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and corporate tax processes
• Experience with IFRS group reporting and consolidation
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good understanding of French
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems
• Experience with D365, Oracle and/or Tagetik is considered a plus You are analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working autonomously while remaining a true team player. You enjoy coaching others, solving complex accounting questions and working in a dynamic environment.
