Role Description The Director of Financing Business Unit is a contract role responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations that support the company’s cross-border medical supply chain activities. Based in Hong Kong SAR, this hybrid position combines on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financing structures for international transactions, developing business plans for the financing unit, managing risk and cash flow, and optimizing capital allocation to support growth. The director will lead and develop a team, collaborate with sales and operations to design financing solutions for hospital clients, and build relationships with financial institutions and strategic partners. This role also involves monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and continuously improving financial processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to assess financial performance, risks, and cross-border transaction structures.
Proficiency in business planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing long-term financial strategies.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and team management within a finance or business unit context.
Sales-related skills, including the ability to support commercial teams with financing solutions and engage with client decision-makers.
Experience in corporate finance, trade finance, or supply chain finance; background in healthcare or logistics is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate across functions, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is beneficial.
Track record of working with international partners and understanding of cross-border regulatory and compliance requirements.
