IT Architecture Team Lead

About the Role
NISH Tech BV is looking for an experienced Team Leader & Transition Manager to support a major European Energy & Utilities organization through an important architecture and operating-model transformation. You will lead and support Solution Architects while contributing to enterprise architecture governance, transition planning and organizational transformation. The role combines people leadership, architecture governance, stakeholder management and hands-on transformation execution. You will help establish effective ways of working, strengthen collaboration between architecture and product functions, remove organizational blockers and ensure delivery continuity. Strong knowledge of IT architecture frameworks, cloud-native patterns and modern architecture practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support Solution Architects across multiple digital initiatives.
• Manage architecture resource requests and assignments.
• Contribute to IT architecture governance and decision-making frameworks.
• Clarify roles and responsibilities across Product, Architecture and Delivery functions.
• Drive and monitor transition plans.
• Support operating-model transformation and organizational change.
• Identify and remove organizational, process and stakeholder blockers.
• Facilitate collaboration between architecture and product teams.
• Establish standardized architecture deliverables and quality controls.
• Monitor operational architecture activities, alerts and issues.
• Translate strategic architecture vision into operational actions.
• Provide progress updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Promote collaboration, team cohesion and effective ways of working.
• Support enterprise architecture activities and governance.
• Ensure delivery continuity throughout the transition. Required Skills Mandatory Skills
• More than 10 years of experience in transition management and project management.
• Strong IT architecture experience.
• Experience with IT processes and methodologies.
• TOGAF and ArchiMate knowledge.
• Cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Reference architecture advocacy.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
• Good level of Dutch and/or French and English. Nice-to-Have Skills
• Energy & Utilities sector experience.
• Experience with mergers and organizational transformations.
• Gartner Architecture Frameworks, including TIME/APM concepts.
• Domain-Driven Design.
• ITIL.
• Real-world experience architecting and delivering IT products in Agile environments. Experience More than 10 years of transition management and project management experience is required. Languages
