Data & AI Technology Intern
• Introduction The Data & AI Technology team at Accenture helps organizations become data-driven and AI-first. We design, build, and operate modern data platforms and AI solutions that turn data into trusted insights and scalable intelligence at enterprise scale. • Your Team You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and functional experts. As an intern, you will learn through hands-on assignments, guidance, regular feedback, and collaboration with experienced colleagues. Our work spans data foundations, analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI, with Responsible AI principles embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Your Internship Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development and testing of data, machine learning, and AI solutions under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Assist with data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, validation, and feature engineering.
• Help explore and document business use cases, user needs, and functional requirements.
• Support the creation, testing, and monitoring of machine learning pipelines, prototypes, or proof-of-concept solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and business colleagues and contribute to team discussions and working sessions.
• Document experiments, findings, solution designs, and lessons learned in a clear and structured way.
• Assist with workflow automation and gain exposure to development practices such as version control, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Help define or track simple indicators to assess the usefulness and impact of AI solutions.
• Research emerging Data & AI technologies and share relevant insights with the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and regular feedback moments.
• Your Background
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Eligible to complete an internship as part of your academic programme and able to provide the required internship agreement through your educational institution.
• Basic knowledge of Python and an interest in data, analytics, machine learning, or Generative AI.
• Curiosity, a structured problem-solving approach, and attention to detail.
• Interest in connecting business needs with technical possibilities.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, receive feedback, and share knowledge with others.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
• Nice to Have
• Academic, thesis, or personal project experience involving data, machine learning, AI, or software development.
• Basic familiarity with Git or collaborative development practices.
• Exposure through coursework or projects to a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Interest in LLMs, Generative AI, low-code platforms, or Responsible AI.
• Participation in hackathons, AI competitions, student associations, or personal GitHub projects.
• Basic awareness of Agile ways of working, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, or Airflow.
