We’re looking for an experienced ServiceNow Integration Technical Consultant to join our client’s team and take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining robust integrations between ServiceNow and external systems. You’ll work closely with functional consultants, platform architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable integration solutions while also contributing to the configuration and development of ServiceNow modules. As a subject matter expert, you’ll help define technical approaches, promote best practices, and guide teams toward scalable and maintainable solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external platforms and applications.
• Implement integrations using ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, and other appropriate integration technologies.
• Work with systems such as SAP, Jira, Microsoft Azure, and other enterprise applications.
• Configure and develop ServiceNow technical components, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Transform Maps, and custom workflows.
• Support the configuration and development of non-integration ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, SAM, and CMDB.
• Design and implement secure integration solutions using authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
• Configure and maintain MID Servers where required.
• Work with ETL processes, data transformation techniques, and data mapping.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and ATFs to ensure solution quality.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to integration strategy, architecture, and best practices.
• Act as a ServiceNow integration subject matter expert and advise internal teams and stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to sprints, user stories, technical discussions, and delivery activities.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts, integration strategies, and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay informed about ServiceNow best practices, platform capabilities, and new features. Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on ServiceNow technical specialist with strong expertise in integrations and a solid understanding of the broader ServiceNow platform. You combine technical depth with a pragmatic approach to solution design and are comfortable working across different systems, technologies, and stakeholder groups. You can independently take ownership of complex integration challenges while collaborating effectively with architects, functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders. Strong communication skills and a commitment to ServiceNow best practices are essential. Required Expertise
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, and integration development.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Jira, Microsoft Azure, or comparable systems.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow technical components, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Transform Maps, and custom workflows.
• Strong programming knowledge of JavaScript, including client
- and server-side development.
• Good knowledge of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and Web Services.
• Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience configuring and managing ServiceNow MID Servers.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data transformation techniques.
• Experience developing and maintaining Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development standards and platform best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including sprints and user stories.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
• ServiceNow IntegrationHub Specialist and/or relevant ServiceNow Developer certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English at C1 level.
