The main activity will concern the functional validation of evolutions, integrations and redesigns of applications in the field. As a functional tester, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team made up of project managers, analysts, developers and business experts. You will be required to work closely with key users and business representatives to understand their work context, processes associated with the management of planning and environmental permits as well as the needs covered by the applications. Your role is mainly oriented towards the preparation, execution and monitoring of tests to guarantee the quality of the solutions put into production. As such, you will intervene as soon as the needs are understood in order to develop relevant test scenarios that are representative of real uses. The position also has a test automation dimension. This component will be developed gradually as projects and applications mature. However, the mission today remains mainly focused on manual testing and functional validation activities. In This Context, Your Responsibilities Are As Follows
• Quickly understand the business and processes related to the management of planning and environmental permits in order to ensure appropriate test coverage;
• Analyze functional specifications, evolution requests and user needs;
• Design, document and maintain test cases and scenarios;
• Prepare the data necessary for test campaigns;
• Verify that functional requirements/specifications have been correctly implemented;
• Perform functional, regression, and integration tests;
• Identify, document, and track anomalies until they are resolved in Jira;
• Collaborate with analysts, business, and development teams to ensure a common understanding of the issues encountered;
• Participate in testing activities and validation of deliveries;
• Test webservices via dedicated tools (SoapUI, Postman,...)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and testing processes;
• Gradually participate in the implementation and maintenance of automated tests (Playwright) when the functional stability and maturity of the applications allow it.
• Ensure the traceability of tests and the overall quality of the applications delivered. Soft Skills
