Job Description
As an engineering consultant for Nalys, you will play a key role in designing and validating advanced control strategies for our client's product. Your technical contributions will directly impact the performance, safety, and efficiency of mild, plug-in, and full hybrid vehicles. You will be fully integrated into a dedicated team of over 20 specialists focusing on Model-Based Software Development using Simulink. Your core responsibilities will span the entire software development V-cycle: from gathering customer requirements and designing robust control algorithms, to simulating them in MiL environments and conducting comprehensive validations on HiL platforms, test benches, and prototype vehicles. You will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams—including system engineers, software developers, and testing units—to deliver high-quality modules. Profile / Requirements We are looking for an engineer holding a Master's degree or a PhD in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a closely related discipline. You must bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, ideally gained within the automotive industry. A strong technical command of the MathWorks toolchain (including MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and EmbeddedCoder) is mandatory, alongside proven expertise in designing control strategies specifically intended for production and code generation. You should be highly skilled in resolving complex system-level software issues through structured root-cause analysis. Hands-on experience with software validation testing for automotive systems, as well as data measurement analysis using tools like CANape, is essential. You must possess a solid grasp of automotive standards, specifically ISO26262 (Part 6) and ASPICE (SWE1 to SWE6). Familiarity with the AUTOSAR architecture and experience operating within Agile teams using toolchains like JIRA will be considered strong advantages. You stand out for your highly methodical problem-solving abilities, strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and collaborative team spirit.
