Join Stryker as a Clinical Specialist supporting Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery across Puerto Rico. In this field-based role, you will provide hands-on clinical and technical support during joint replacement procedures, working directly with surgeons, operating room teams, and commercial partners to support the effective use of Mako technology.
What You Will Do
• Support joint replacement procedures using the Mako Robotic System, providing on-site clinical and technical guidance throughout surgical cases.
• Guide surgeons and operating room staff in the operation of robotic-arm applications, associated equipment, and surgical instruments.
• Prepare pre-operative CT scans using proprietary software to support implant planning, sizing, positioning, and placement.
• Train surgeons and operating room teams through product education, technical guidance, and ongoing in-service sessions.
• Troubleshoot product and technical issues at customer sites and coordinate timely resolution to support surgical procedures.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to communicate product information and clinical benefits to healthcare professionals.
• Build professional relationships with surgeons and operating room staff at assigned hospitals and customer accounts through consistent clinical support.
• Collect and communicate customer and product feedback to internal teams to support product performance and customer satisfaction. Required What you will need
• Technical degree or equivalent training in Surgical Technology, Surgical Instrumentation, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Previous professional experience in a hospital and surgical environment.
• English proficiency at A2 level or higher.
• Availability to travel throughout Puerto Rico and work flexible hours based on surgical schedules. Preferred
• University degree in Nursing, Surgical Technology, Surgical Instrumentation, or another healthcare-related discipline.
• Experience providing clinical or technical support in operating room environments.
• Experience working with medical devices, surgical equipment, or orthopedic procedures. Puerto Rico: $59,900
