About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead a complex ICT project for one of our leading clients in Belgium. This is a 4-month contractual position where you will take ownership of the preparation, management, coordination, and successful delivery of a large and complex ICT project. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical experts, management, project teams, external partners, and senior leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead large and complex ICT/software development projects from initiation through delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and implementation plans.
• Manage project timeline, budget, resources, risks, quality, and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance and reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate technical and business stakeholders.
• Manage complex stakeholder environments and facilitate decision-making.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings and steering committees.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Provide clear and timely reporting to senior management and program leadership.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and wider business/strategic goals.
• Support organizational change and ensure successful implementation of project outcomes. Required Experience
• 10+ years of experience leading ICT or software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex projects within larger programs or portfolios.
• Experience managing multiple project dependencies and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong experience with project budgets, risks, resources, dependencies, and reporting.
• Experience with CRM and customer-process implementation or optimization is preferred.
• Experience with change management within ICT projects.
• Experience working within PMO, portfolio, or program environments is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe. Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Language Requirements
• Excellent Dutch – mandatory
