About The Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Engineer to support the design, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Profile
• 5+ years of experience within the SAP ecosystem, including hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in complex and international environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch would be considered an advantage for Belgium-based projects. Technical Skills We Value
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of SAP ABAP and ABAP OO.
• Experience with CDS Views and OData services.
• Project experience in the Banking & financial sector
• Experience with SAP interfaces and integration technologies.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA and data models.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, BAPIs and RFCs.
• Understanding of SAP transport and change management processes.
• Experience with debugging, performance analysis, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, develop, and maintain solutions within SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Support S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
• Develop and enhance applications using ABAP / ABAP OO and, where applicable, SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• Work with CDS Views, OData services, APIs, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.
• Design and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA and internal or external systems.
• Support data migration, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Participate in testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, and UAT support.
• Ensure solutions comply with SAP development standards, security requirements, and internal architecture guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical support during deployment, go-live, and post-production phases.
