Main Responsibilities Your duties will encompass all aspects of support work for the Accounting team. Your
key responsibilities
are, including but not limited to:

• Perform month-end closing activities, including reviewing bank reconciliations, preparing fixed asset registry etc.
• Review and verify payments to ensure compliance with firm policies and proper authorization.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support the Greater China annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with Practice Group Leaders and Heads of Business Services.
• Prepare monthly and annual cash flow forecasts.
• Handle intercompany billing and account reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audits and tax filings.
• Reconcile partners’ current accounts.
• Prepare ad hoc management information as needed.
• Review the work of the accounting officers and help develop their accounting skills.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as request Attributes/Skills Required
• Solid understanding of AML and conflicts rules applicable in all jurisdictions in which the firm operates, gained from at least 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment.
• Accountancy qualification from a recognized accounting body with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a professional firm.
• Knowledge of PRC tax is advantageous .
• Familiarity with Aderant is a plus.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility, while also being capable of working independently with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to think critically and challenge existing processes.
• Essential ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. This
