About the Role
Greetings from MGS We are looking for an experienced Dutch-Speaking Test Analyst to support a project for the Flemish Government in Belgium. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases. The selected candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, developers, and other testing team members to ensure that the delivered applications meet the defined requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Test Analysis and Test Case Design
• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Identify test scenarios, test conditions, and test cases.
• Write clear, detailed, and structured test cases in Dutch.
• Define test steps, expected results, preconditions, and test data.
• Ensure test cases provide adequate coverage of business requirements. 2. Requirements Validation
• Review requirements and identify ambiguities, inconsistencies, or missing information.
• Discuss requirements with business analysts and stakeholders.
• Map test cases to requirements to ensure traceability.
• Identify positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios. 3. Test Execution Support
• Execute manual test cases where required.
• Record actual results and compare them with expected results.
• Identify, document, and report defects.
• Coordinate with developers and relevant teams to clarify and resolve issues.
• Perform retesting and regression testing when required. 4. Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain test documentation and test case repositories.
• Update test cases based on changing requirements.
• Report test progress, defects, and coverage.
• Ensure testing documentation is accurate, consistent, and easy to understand. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with business users, functional analysts, developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in meetings, requirement reviews, and testing discussions.
• Communicate findings and testing outcomes clearly in Dutch. Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a Test Analyst, Software Tester, or QA Analyst.
• Strong experience in writing and documenting test cases.
• Ability to understand business and functional requirements.
• Experience with manual testing, defect reporting, and test documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Dutch language proficiency, including written communication.
• Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on public-sector or government IT projects.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with requirements traceability and test coverage reporting.
