Ghent, Flanders, Belgique Fermedics - Unlocking nature’s potency Temps plein
Who we are Fermedics is a Ghent-based scale-up making fermented botanical ingredients for food supplement brands. And we’re growing fast: in recent years we’ve roughly doubled every year. We’re riding two big waves at once, a booming supplements market and the fermentation trend. Small team, big ambitions, short communication lines. Your mission Help us build a real digital marketing strategy. The basics are already there: our website, LinkedIn, Semrush for SEO/GEO analysis, newsletters and Canva. Now we need someone to bring it all together, including a content plan for our newsletter, Instagram and LinkedIn communication. What you’ll be doing
• SEO & GEO: dig into Semrush, spot the gaps and fix them, so both Google and LLM models like Claude & ChatGPT find us
• Sales funnel & Campaigns: map out our funnel and set up campaigns across channels and drive conversions
• Website: improve findability, structure and conversion
• Content: social posts, blog posts, mailings and website copy
• Instagram: yes, B2B. Our customers (supplement brands) are there, so we should be too. You’ll launch and grow our account
• Influencers: get relevant influencers on board to boost our reach and visibility
• Showcasing finished products: plan how we highlight products made with our ingredients across the website, LinkedIn and Instagram
• Visuals: create eye-catching marketing material Who you are
• A student or recent graduate in (digital) marketing, communication or a related field
• Digital native: you know social media, content and SEO, and you’re curious about AI search
• Strong writer in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Creative, hands-on and independent; you like to own your projects
• Interested in health, food (supplements) or science? Then you’ll like it here How we work Hybrid: one day a week at our office in Ghent, the rest from home. The number of days per week is flexible: anywhere from 1–2 days a week up to full-time. In your first week you’ll spend 2-3 days on site for onboarding to get to know the team and our products. You won’t be left to figure things out alone: you’ll have our CCO as your dedicated mentor, weekly check-ins and plenty of room for questions, so you can learn fast and grow with confidence. Start date is flexible, and we’ll set it together. What you get Close coaching and real responsibility, visible impact, and a front-row seat in a fast-growing scale-up where your ideas actually go live. Please note: this is an unpaid internship.
