We are looking for a Senior HR Consultant to provide generalist HR support within a public-sector environment. The role focuses on recruitment, employee-related matters, HR processes, and the application of social and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide generalist HR advice and support across various HR domains. Support recruitment and selection, including competency-based interviews. Advise on social and employment legislation. Support HR processes within a local government environment. Work closely with internal stakeholders and provide practical HR guidance. Prepare and manage HR-related documentation using Microsoft Office. Contribute to HR decision-making and administrative processes. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in generalist HR. Bachelor's or Master's degree in HRM, Social Sciences, or a related field. Proven experience in competency-based interviewing. Experience working within the public sector; local government experience is an advantage. Strong knowledge of social and employment legislation. Experience with recruitment and selection in a local government context is an advantage. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with Meeting.net or similar decision-making software is an advantage. Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency. Assignment Start: 14 September 2026 End: 15 July 2027 Workload: Full-time
