Job Purpose
Ensuring timely and accurate NAV production, effective operational risk control, regulatory compliance, and delivery of high-quality client services.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily fund accounting and NAV calculation for various fund structures (e.g. Unit Trusts, OFCs, Private Funds, ETFs, MMFs). Check NAV packages, financial reports and client deliverables before release. Monitor daily operational workflow and ensure all client deadlines are met. Investigate NAV exceptions, pricing issues, reconciliation breaks and operational incidents, and ensure timely resolution Handle complex fund events, including: (Corporate Actions, Performance Fee, FX Forward/NDF valuation & Derivatives valuation). Handle client equiries and operational escalations in a timely manner. Liaise with fund managers, custodians, auditors, brokers, compliance and internal stakeholders. Monitor operation risk & internal controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Ensure compliance with internal policies, SFC and fund constitutive documents. Lead or participate in system enhancements, UAT and operational automation initiatives. Support the onboarding of new funds and new products (e.g. ETFs, MMFs, OFCs and Private Funds). Monitor service level agreements and operational KPIs. Coach and provide technical guidance to junior team members and support their professional development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience in fund administration. Strong knowledge of fund accounting, derivatives, and valuation. Experience with Geneva, Bloomberg or other fund accounting systems. Experience in ETF operations, including creation/ redemption, basket management and NAV calculation, is an advantage.
