Apply now and build your career with us The Director of Information Technology is responsible for leading the strategic roadmap, operational excellence, and lifecycle governance of all Information Technology (IT) and Audio-Visual (AV) environments across the Club. This executive role oversees enterprise systems, cybersecurity architecture, network infrastructure, event AV production, background music (BGM) distribution, and technological alignment with overall club business objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic technology leader capable of establishing a pragmatic defense-in-depth security posture, modernizing AV/event operational capabilities and maintaining high-availability hospitality systems (POS, ERP, Member Portal). Additionally, the Director must be able to articulate technical concepts as the primary technology advisor to the Digital Infrastructure Committee and Senior Leadership – bridging the gap between daily operational realities and the Club’s multi-year enterprise architecture vision. Job Duties & Responsibilities Cybersecurity & Defense Architecture Establish, operationalize, and enforce a robust defense-in-depth security framework (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001) across on-premise networks, cloud workloads, and IoT/AV endpoints Proactively manage endpoint detection and response (EDR), Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Identity and Access Management (IAM/MFA), network segmentation (VLANs), and email security gateways to mitigate threats Lead incident response planning, root-cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and staff security awareness training to prevent recurring security incidents Ensure compliance with data privacy standards, data backup integrity, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and business continuity protocols Audio-Visual (AV), Event Tech & Background Music (BGM) Operations Architect, configure, and maintain the Club's dedicated AV network infrastructure, including AV-over-IP architectures, digital signal processors (DSPs), zoned BGM distribution, and digital signage Ensure seamless execution and zero-downtime AV operational support for high-profile Club banquets, private member events, corporate seminars, and hybrid board meetings Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), proactive diagnostic routines, and rapid-response workflows to eliminate audio dropouts, video routing latency, and display failures Evaluate emerging AV and smart facility technologies (e.g., Dante audio, Crestron/Q-SYS automation, wireless mic frequency management, LED wall staging) to elevate member event experiences Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Maintain high availability, performance, and monitoring for core hospitality and club management systems, including Point of Sale (POS), Club ERP / CRM, HRMS, and digital communications platforms (e-news, member app, digital signage) Administer Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant security, Entra ID, Microsoft cloud environments, Amazon Web Services hosting, and physical/virtual server infrastructure Oversee wired/wireless network topology (switches, access points, guest/staff captive portals), ensuring optimal bandwidth allocation between hospitality POS traffic, member Wi-Fi, and AV data streams Leadership, Financial Governance & Vendor Management Manage the IT & AV operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets, maximizing return on technology investments and optimizing service licensing costs Negotiate, manage, and regularly evaluate SLAs and performance metrics for third-party hardware/software vendors, telecommunications carriers, MSPs, and AV integrators Serve as the primary technology advisor and liaison to Club Management, General Committees, and Department Heads Lead, mentor, and upskill the IT and AV support team, fostering a culture of technical curiosity, member-first customer service, and proactive troubleshooting Skills & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related technology discipline 10+ years of IT management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in hospitality industry would be an advantage Practical understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls); recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are highly advantageous Solid foundation in IP routing, switching, and firewall security (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent); Microsoft Certified (Azure / M365 Administrator) or AWS Cloud certification Familiarity with AV network standards (Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron NVX, HDBaseT) and certification/training (e.g., AVIXA CTS, Dante Certification Levels 1–3) is a strong plus PMP or ITIL Foundation certification preferred Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the executive presence to engage with General Managers, Board/Committee Members, VIP Club Members, and technical teams Working
