Join our CADskills team in Gent, Belgium, and help ensure the highest standards of quality, precision, and innovation in production. Your responsibilities
• Prepare, operate, and monitor SLM and resin 3D printers, including production checks, material handling, and responding to alarms, errors, or deviations.
• Prepare and handle titanium powder and operate the related equipment, including powder sieving and monitoring of the argon gas supply.
• Perform heat treatment and Wire EDM processes, ensuring that parts are processed correctly and transferred to the next production stage.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues within your area of competence, and coordinate further support where required.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation and traceability of machine-based production activities, materials, process data, maintenance activities, and non-conformities.
• Identify process or quality deviations, stop or interrupt production when required, and ensure that only properly checked and documented parts move to the next production stage.
• Support additional production activities such as 3D scanning, ultrasonic cleaning, labelling, preparation for sterilisation, and shipping of completed cases.
• Monitor stock levels of key materials and consumables and support a reliable and efficient day-to-day production workflow. Your qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or completed technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, manufacturing technology, additive manufacturing, or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• Around three years of practical experience in operating, setting up, or maintaining production equipment in an industrial environment.
• Experience with additive manufacturing, CNC, metal processing, or comparable manufacturing technologies is an advantage.
• Good technical understanding of production equipment and manufacturing processes, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and appropriately escalate technical abnormalities.
• Precise, systematic, and quality-conscious working style with a strong awareness of safety, hygiene, documentation, and traceability; experience in a regulated environment is an advantage.
• Confident working with digital production and documentation systems; experience with machine control software is an advantage.
• Reliable and responsible team player who is comfortable working independently, communicates clearly, and is willing to learn and support different production activities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
