IT Manager

To support our continued growth and digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced IT Manager who will shape the future of our IT landscape and drive the adoption of AI throughout the organisation. Your role As IT Manager, you are responsible for Serax's entire IT landscape and budget. With SAP at the core of our business and AI becoming increasingly important, you ensure our systems remain stable, secure, and future-proof. You define and lead our IT and AI strategy, making artificial intelligence an integral part of how our teams work. You report directly to the COO and lead one analyst, combining strategic vision with a hands-on approach to innovation and transformation. Your responsibilities
• Defining and executing the IT and AI roadmap, with SAP as the stable foundation and AI as a growing strategic priority.
• Managing the complete IT landscape, including SAP, CRM, B2B and B2C webshops, integrations, and supporting systems.
• Ensuring company data and systems are securely accessible to AI while establishing a framework for colleagues to develop their own AI solutions.
• Driving AI adoption across the organisation together with our AI Captains and identifying opportunities to automate administrative processes.
• Managing the full IT budget, including software, hardware, vendors, and contracts, with a clear focus on cost efficiency.
• Safeguarding information security, compliance, and the overall reliability of our systems.
• Leading, coaching, and supporting the IT analyst. What we are looking for
• Degree in IT, engineering, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position with responsibility for a company-wide IT landscape.
• Proven experience managing IT budgets, external vendors, and technology partners.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI tools within an organisation, including adoption, governance, and cost management.
• Broad knowledge of ERP, CRM, e-commerce, integrations, cloud technologies, and data management. SAP knowledge is required.
• A strategic yet hands-on mindset, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to inspire colleagues, manage change, and translate technological opportunities into practical solutions.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
