About Us
At Hopapa Swimming School, we believe swimming is more than just a life skill — it is a journey of confidence, discovery, and personal growth. Guided by our philosophy, “We Swim for Happiness,” we are committed to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child can develop confidence and enjoy swimming at their own pace. As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and experienced swimming instructors to join our team and help us deliver high-quality swimming education across Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct swimming lessons for children aged approximately 2.5–12, primarily in small-group settings.
• Create a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment.
• Apply child-centred teaching approaches that encourage exploration, confidence, and active participation.
• Adapt lesson activities according to each student's age, ability, and learning progress.
• Communicate professionally with parents and provide constructive feedback on students' development.
• Work closely with our coaching team to maintain consistent teaching standards and lesson quality.
• Support the long-term development of our swimming education programmes.
• Requirements
• Previous experience in teaching swimming, preferably with young children.
• Relevant swimming instructor qualifications or recognised coaching certifications.
• Strong understanding of water safety and child development.
• Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct lessons independently and manage small groups effectively.
• Willingness to embrace our child-centred swimming education philosophy.
• Good command of Cantonese; English communication skills are an advantage.
