About the Role
NISH Tech BV is looking for an experienced Senior UX Researcher to join a digital transformation initiative within a leading European energy and infrastructure organization. You will bring the user perspective into digital product development by leading UX research, conducting user interviews and usability tests, facilitating workshops and translating research findings into effective user experiences. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, designers and end users to improve digital journeys, usability and information architecture.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead UX research activities and maintain research documentation.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, ideation sessions and co-design activities.
• Conduct user interviews, observations, surveys and usability testing.
• Analyse user behaviour and website performance using Matomo and heatmaps.
• Develop user personas and experience maps.
• Define and validate interaction models.
• Identify business processes and improve user journeys.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards and user flows.
• Present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UI designers to maintain design consistency.
• Participate in UX knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement activities. Required Skills
• 7 years of experience in design thinking within Agile projects.
• 7 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• 3 years of experience in interaction design and information architecture.
• Strong Figma skills, including low-fidelity wireframes, prototypes and user flows.
• Experience with Matomo, heatmaps and research methods.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Formal qualification in UX (Master's degree, certification or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience using Figma design systems.
• Familiarity with Condens research tools. Languages
• Dutch or French – required.
• English – required.
• German – an advantage. Location & Work Model Brussels, Belgium – on-site presence required 2 days per week.
