China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Company” or “China State Hong Kong”) started its construction business in Hong Kong in 1979. The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.
Employment Term: Full-time Contract
Working Hours
5-day work week (08:30 – 17:18 or 08:57 – 17:45, Monday to Friday)

Housing Authority Headquarters / Housing Department Offices / Site Offices
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Contract Manager (CM) or designated representatives, the candidate will be responsible for: Prepare, check, and update working drawings, submission drawings, presentation drawings, survey plans, and schedules. Update drainage disposal plans and check shop drawings and as-fitted drawings submitted by contractors, suppliers, and utility companies. Coordinate architectural, building services, structural, site formation, drainage, geotechnical, and other drawings. Compute site areas, plot ratios, take on-site measurements, and prepare survey drawings. Construct study models and arrange for the printing of drawings. Prepare and update record drawings, programme charts, and assist in researching architectural/building materials, costs, and supply sources. Manage the receipt, issue, and proper record-keeping of drawings. Liaise with professional/technical staff, allied professions in the Housing Department, consultants, and contractor representatives on project matters. Resolve simple technical issues arising from drawing preparation or site construction. Entry Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or Architectural Studies from PolyU, IVE, or equivalent.
Experience:
Practical experience in AutoCAD drafting and architectural drawing preparation. Knowledge: Good knowledge of Building Regulations and Codes of Practice. Software
Skills:
Good skills in AutoCAD. Proficiency in Photoshop, 3D software, and PowerPoint applications is preferred. Compliance: Must complete standard integrity declarations and comply with the Housing Department Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Undertaking. Benefits & Conditions
Salary:
Fixed monthly salary Leave: 14 days of paid annual leave per year
