Find out more: www.itsgroup.com About the Job : Great assignments await you with our key account clients in rich and varied environments We are looking for an Expert Test Engineer with a mandatory 10+ years of experience, capable of designing, implementing, and operating a comprehensive testing strategy within a modern cloud-native environment based on APIs, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and Zero Trust principles. The role is strongly hands-on. The selected consultant must have personally implemented and used the requested technologies during the last five years, rather than managed or delegated these activities to others. The objective is to ensure the quality, reliability, security, scalability, and performance of a large-scale digital platform through extensive test automation and continuous quality engineering. The consultant will work within Agile delivery teams and contribute to the modernization of a strategic digital transformation program. Your

missions:
• Define, maintain, and operationalize the overall testing approach and testing strategy.
• Design and implement Agile operational test plans covering both business and technical validation.
• Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks across all testing layers.
• Ensure software quality, robustness, security, scalability, and performance.
• Validate business logic implemented within APIs and microservices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to observability, monitoring, logging, and quality controls.
• Support Agile teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
• Provide technical recommendations and propose alternative solutions when required.
• Promote Continuous Testing and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Actively contribute to sprint activities such as planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and testing practices. Your activities: Test Strategy & Planning
• Develop and continuously improve the testing roadmap and test approach.
• Create and maintain Agile operational test plans.
• Define and execute quality assurance processes for the solution landscape. Functional Testing
• Validate business processes implemented through APIs and microservices.
• Verify data integrity across the solution.
• Perform end-to-end testing of business and user journeys. API Testing
• Validate OpenAPI contracts.
• Test API functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.
• Automate API testing to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement and maintain API testing frameworks and tooling. Integration Testing
• Test interactions between microservices.
• Validate integrations with COTS products, external APIs, adapters, and third-party systems.
• Simulate failure scenarios and resilience use cases. Security Testing
• Validate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
• Verify compliance with Zero Trust and secure architecture principles. Performance Engineering
• Design and execute performance, stress, load, and scalability testing.
• Assess the behavior of APIs, microservices, and the overall platform under load. Test Automation
• Design, build, and maintain automated regression, integration, API, UI, and E2E test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure rapid feedback within DevOps delivery processes. Monitoring & Observability
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability setup across development, test, and acceptance environments.
• Implement and maintain quality insights and operational monitoring dashboards. Agile Collaboration
• Work closely with developers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies.
• Share knowledge, mentor team members, and promote engineering excellence. You have the following

• 10+ years of experience as a Test Engineer.
• Higher education degree in Computer Science (short-cycle or university level).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within Agile delivery teams. Test Automation & Quality Engineering
• Test automation frameworks (5+ years).
• API testing frameworks and tools (5+ years).
• UI testing frameworks and tools (5+ years).
• End-to-End testing (5+ years).
• Regression testing (5+ years).
• Integration testing (5+ years).
• Contract testing (5+ years).
• Mocking and service virtualization (5+ years). Performance Testing
• Performance, load, and stress testing (5+ years).
• Ideally with JMeter and Gatling. API & Microservices
• API testing and validation.
• API contract validation (OpenAPI).
• Microservices testing.
• Integration testing within distributed environments. Programming & Scripting
• Java SE 10+ (minimum 3 years).
• Python (5+ years).
• JavaScript (5+ years). CI/CD & DevOps
• CI/CD pipeline implementation (5+ years).
• Integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (5+ years).
• Preferably Azure DevOps.
• Build tools experience (5+ years).
• Preferably Maven. Monitoring & Observability
