Company Description The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) has over 45 years of experience promoting trade and economic cooperation between Belgium, Luxembourg, and Arab countries. The Chamber provides members with tailored services grounded in deep knowledge of regional economic and commercial environments. ABLCC’s strong network includes businesses, policymakers, diplomats, chambers of commerce, trade associations, and financial institutions. This broad ecosystem enables members to access high-level contacts, market insights, and business opportunities across multiple sectors. The Chamber offers an international, multicultural setting that is highly relevant for individuals interested in global trade and economic relations. Launched in early 2026, our EU-Arab Desk works to open new EU funding streams for the Chamber and to give Arab and Belgian economic actors regulatory insight, market intelligence, and dialogue platforms that strengthen EU-Arab trade and investment. In just a few months, we've registered the Chamber on EU funding platforms, submitted our first EU project proposals, joined our first consortium, and built a network of partner organizations across Europe and the Arab world
- with more proposals in the pipeline that we aim to build. Role Description The Junior EU Project Officer (Internship) is a full-time on-site role based in Brussels. The intern will support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of EU-funded and EU-related projects, This include conducting research on EU funding calls, tenders, policies and programs relevant to Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg trade, drafting briefs and presentations, and helping organize meetings, events, and delegations. The role involves regular communication with internal teams and external partners, maintaining project files and databases, and contributing to updates for stakeholders and members. The intern will also assist in administrative and logistical tasks linked to project activities and Chamber initiatives, such as developing online tools and resources for members, contributing to newsletters and studies on EU policy affecting the Arab world and supporting outreach and follow up with relevant contacts. Qualifications
• Student or recent graduate in EU Affairs, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related field
• Knowledge of EU institutions, policies, and funding programs, particularly in trade, economic cooperation, or international relations.
• Interest in EU Affairs, Arab-European economic cooperation, international trade and policy, and chamber of commerce activities.
• Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear summaries and presentations.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset. Internship details:

• Minimum duration: 3 months
