Then this is a role where you can truly make an impact. At GLS, we're looking for a Continuous Improvement & Operations Specialist who can bridge the gap between strategy and day-to-day operations. You'll turn ideas and improvement initiatives into tangible results, helping our depots perform better every day. This role combines analysis, project management, implementation, and hands-on operational support within a fast-paced logistics environment. No two days are the same What will you do? Drive Operational Excellence You'll analyse operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and transform insights from data, reports, and frontline experience into practical improvement initiatives. Lead Improvement Projects You'll contribute to optimisation and continuous improvement projects, ensuring that good ideas move beyond planning and become embedded in day-to-day operations. Support Pilots and Change Initiatives Whether it's a new process, tool, or way of working, you'll play an active role in preparation, testing, implementation, and roll-out across our depot network. Partner with Operations Teams You'll act as a trusted point of contact for depot managers and operational teams, listening to challenges on the ground and translating them into sustainable solutions. Turn Data into Action You'll monitor operational KPIs, identify trends and performance gaps, and help the business make informed, data-driven decisions. Strengthen Quality and Performance You'll promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, identifying risks and helping teams achieve higher operational standards. Roll Up Your Sleeves When Needed From operational challenges and new implementations to temporary task forces, you're not afraid to get involved and help deliver solutions when they matter most. Who are you?
• You have experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or process improvement
• You combine strong analytical skills with a practical, hands-on mindset
• You enjoy understanding complex challenges and driving effective solutions
• You communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, from frontline teams to senior management
• You are well organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• You take ownership, show initiative, and are comfortable making decisions
• You're willing to travel regularly between our depots
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and are able to express yourself confidently in both French and English What makes this role unique?
