Team Description You’ll join our Accenture Song Design & Digital Products team, a multidisciplinary team working across design, technology, business and human needs. Our people bring together expertise in product design, service design, UX strategy, user research, business design, consulting and creative technology. Together, we help clients understand complex challenges, identify promising opportunities and reinvent products, services and experiences around people’s needs. Our work ranges from research and strategy to concept development, prototyping, testing and refinement. We help clients answer questions such as: How can we create products that truly work for users? How can we reinvent services and customer experiences? Where can technologies such as AI create meaningful value? As an intern, you’ll contribute to real client projects, work with different profiles across the team and get the opportunity to explore where you want to deepen your expertise. What You Could Work On Depending on your background, interests and the projects running during your internship, you may:
• Support user, market and design research activities to better understand users, organisations, industries and emerging trends.
• Help prepare, conduct and analyse user interviews, usability tests, observations, surveys and other research activities.
• Translate design research data into insights, opportunity areas, personas, journeys, design principles or recommendations.
• Contribute to customer journeys, service blueprints, experience concepts and future service propositions.
• Help shape product and UX strategies, value propositions, product visions and experience roadmaps.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and interface concepts, and improve them through feedback, and testing.
• Participate in co-creation sessions, workshops and client meetings, helping teams explore challenges, align perspectives and generate solutions.
• Explore the business side of products and services, including customer value, feasibility, operating models and new business opportunities.
• Experiment with AI, emerging technologies and creative technology to explore, prototype and demonstrate new possibilities.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, strategists, consultants, technologists and client teams to turn complex challenges into clear stories, tangible concepts and actionable solutions. Who We Are Looking For We’re looking for someone who:
• Is currently studying in a relevant field such as product/UX design, service design, business design, innovation, behavioural design, digital strategy, technology or a related discipline.
• Has a genuine interest in people, digital products and services, technology and how to create better experiences and solutions for users.
• Is curious and analytical: you enjoy asking questions, understanding why things work the way they do and making sense of complex problems.
• Has a learner mindset and is eager to explore new ideas, methods and technologies. You don’t expect to already have all the answers.
• Likes to make things tangible, whether through research, visualisations, prototypes, concepts, presentations or experiments. Experience with relevant tools such as Figma, Claude or Miro is a plus.
• Communicates and collaborates well with people from different disciplines, backgrounds and perspectives. You are fully comfortable working in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus. You don’t need to fit neatly into one box. Whether your natural starting point is design, research, strategy, business or technology, we’re especially interested in people who are curious about the connections between them.
