The ESC is currently looking for 1 Advocacy officer for a Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP), as from as soon as possible for 6 months to work at its offices in Brussels.
Major duties and
responsibilities:
Policy monitoring and research, outreach to policy makers and stakeholders together with senior colleagues, assistance with external communications and ad hoc support
· Conduct Policy Monitoring & Research in order to identify opportunities to promote the ESC's advocacy objectives
· Conduct Policy Monitoring & Research in order to identify opportunities to promote the ESC's advocacy objectives
· Develop ESC Advocacy Communications in order to inform ESC members and the public at large of ESC policy efforts to improve cardiovascular health Profile:
· a post-secondary education attested by a diploma
· Education in a relevant field (European Studies, Political Science or other relevant education).
· Good understanding of EU institutions, policies, and procedures.
· Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint);
· Proficient in English, other languages such as French will be considered an advantage;
· Self-motivated and able to work in a cross-functional team
· Interested in health policy and willing to learn more about this field in order to offer the best support Contract:
· Convention d’Immersion professionnelle for 6 months as from as soon as possible
