Over the course of one year, the VISTA Education Specialist will continue to support the tutoring center’s infrastructure by developing the final phases of a customized strategic plan for volunteer recruitment and retention. This plan will help strengthen the center’s capacity to provide direct tutoring services to children and retain volunteers and participants.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop guidelines, protocols, and best practices to strengthen REHACE’s programs and support long-term sustainability. The member will assess current program processes, identify areas for improvement, document procedures, and develop resources to improve program operations and volunteer engagement. The member will also support the development of strategies to strengthen the organization’s capacity to continue providing services to women, children, older adults, and individuals with disabilities. Through this work, the member will help create sustainable systems, improve program effectiveness, and strengthen REHACE’s ability to serve individuals and families in need.
