About the Role
We are looking for an experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of critical central-system applications supporting digital identity and public online services. 🔹
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and test new transactions and management functionalities within a central mainframe system.
• Implement technical solutions based on functional and technical analyses.
• Assess and manage the impact of changes on existing applications.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise existing functionalities.
• Enhance and further develop applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle. 🔹 Required Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL development.
• Mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Transaction processing and batch processing.
• Application testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Impact analysis and enhancement of existing systems.
