We are hiring an RPA Support Specialist to help manage and maintain the automation infrastructure for a major logistics provider in Brussels. This role ensures that the software bots we deploy continue to function correctly as they handle high-volume data tasks across the client supply chain. About Blue Oak Consulting Blue Oak Consulting provides independent advisory on pricing, portfolio economics, capital allocation, and acquisition assumptions. We are not a traditional consulting firm focused on broad transformation programs or high level strategy decks. Instead, we interrogate specific commercial decisions where the financial stakes are high and the existing narrative is not sufficient. Our team looks past corporate language and P&L complexity to identify where value is leaking or capital is trapped. We work across sectors like software, manufacturing, and healthcare to test whether the assumptions behind a growth plan or an acquisition actually hold under pressure. We are a small, principal led firm where the people who do the work are the ones accountable for the results. We do not take transaction contingent fees, which allows us to be completely honest about whether the economics of a decision make sense. Our goal is to provide clarity through financial discipline and a healthy amount of skepticism. We stay through the execution phase because decisions that look sound in theory often fail when they meet real world friction. The Role This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is technically curious and comfortable working in a fully remote setting. You will work closely with our automation leads to support the digital workflows of a major logistics provider in Brussels. The focus is on technical stability and ensuring that automated tasks do not fail when they encounter unexpected data or changes in the client environment. You will be expected to look at the logic behind the automation and verify that the output remains consistent with the financial goals of the project. This role is paid, and the compensation is competitive for the market and the level of experience required. What You Will Be Doing Monitoring the daily performance of software robots to ensure they complete their tasks without errors. Investigating failed processes to determine if the cause is a change in the user interface, a data format shift, or a logic error. Providing regular status reports on bot health and performance metrics to the project team. Updating existing automation scripts to accommodate small changes in business rules or software updates. Collaborating with senior developers to document technical requirements and troubleshooting steps for new workflows. Assisting with data validation to confirm that the information processed by the bots matches the expected financial records. Testing new automation builds in a staging environment before they go live for the logistics client. Maintaining a log of common issues and their resolutions to improve future development cycles. What You Bring A degree or recent coursework in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field with a focus on logic and data. Basic familiarity with automation tools or a strong desire to learn how Robotic Process Automation works in a business context. Foundational knowledge of scripting or programming logic, such as basic Python, SQL, or VBA. The ability to think critically about why a process might have stopped working and how to fix it systematically. Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing logs and data spreadsheets for discrepancies. Clear communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical issues in plain language. Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying connected with the team through digital tools. An investigative mindset that enjoys solving puzzles and finding the root cause of technical friction.

What We Offer
Attractive and competitive pay that reflects the professional nature of the work. A fully remote working arrangement that provides flexibility and eliminates the need for a daily commute. Direct exposure to senior principals who value financial discipline and logical rigor. Structured training on industry leading automation platforms and technical support methodologies. The opportunity to work on a high stakes project for a large scale logistics organization. A professional environment that prioritizes clear results over corporate jargon and office politics. A supportive team culture that encourages asking questions and looking past the surface of a problem. At Blue Oak Consulting, we value the work of specialists who ensure that the solutions we build actually last. In this role, you will be a vital part of a team that bridges the gap between high level strategy and daily operational reality. We believe that a well maintained system is just as important as a well designed one, and your contribution will help ensure that our clients see the long term value of their automation investments.
